Canyon Cleanup, Saturday, March 20, 2010
- 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. (Cleanup 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.; refreshments and talk 1:00 to 2:00 p.m.)
- Volunteers meet at the Tecolote Canyon trailhead near the corner of Genesee and Marlesta. Parking along Marlesta Drive. (Click on Canyon Day Map at left)
- Not recommended for children under 10 years of age. Children under 18 must have TWO signed waiver slips (click here for Mesa College waiver form and City of San Diego Waiver Form) or be accompanied by a parent/guardian. Closed-toed shoes required. Questions? Call 619-388-2942.
Ranger Janice Lavallee of Tecolote Canyon Natural Park will lead the canyon cleanup. Canyon cleanup activities will include trash and invasive species removal. Tool and supplied are provided. Closed-toe shoes, long pants and long-sleeve shirts are required.
