Mesa College Commencement Ceremony

4:00 pm
For Grads
- 2:00 – Graduate check-in begins outside the Jenny Craig Pavilion (follow signs)
- 3:05 – Mandatory Graduation Rehearsal and Line-up
- 3:45 – Procession into the Graduation Arena
- 4:00 – Commencement Ceremony begins
- 5:30 – Ceremony concludes - President's Reception
* Note: Cap & Gown are required to participate in the Commencement Ceremony.Please consider donating your gown after the ceremony for a future graduate to wear. A box for donated gowns will be located in the courtyard in front of Jenny Craig Pavilion.
For Family and Friends
- 3:00 – Doors open for audiences seating. Disabled seating is available for guests. Guests are seated on a first-come-first-served basis.
- 4:00 – Commencement Ceremony begins
- 5:30 –Ceremony concludes - President's Reception
*Please allow ample time for travel, parking and seating so that you do not miss any part of your graduate’s big day!
Location
The Jenny Craig Pavilion is located on the campus of the University of San Diego (USD) University of San Diego, 5998 Alcalá Park, San Diego, CA 92110
Directions:
- Going North on Interstate 5:
- Take I-8 East
- Exit Morena Blvd
- Turn right on Linda Vista Road
- Third light turn left into Main Entrance
- Make right turn at stop sign and park in parking structure at bottom of hill
- Going South on Interstate 5:
- Exit Seaworld/Tecolote Drive
- Left at signal
- Right turn on Morena Blvd
- Left on Napa Street
- Left on Linda Vista Road
- Third light turn left into Main Entrance
- Make right turn at stop sign and park in parking structure at bottom of hill
- Going West on Interstate 8:
- Exit Morena Blvd
- Turn right on Linda Vista Road
- Third light turn left into Main Entrance
- Make right turn at stop sign and park in parking structure at bottom of hill
- Going South on Interstate 15 or 805:
- Go to 163 South
- Exit Genesee Road and make right
- Left on Linda Vista Road
- Continue on Linda Vista for approximately 2 miles
- Once you pass the street, Via Las Cumbres, make a right into the second entrance (Main Entrance)
- Make right turn at stop sign and park in parking structure at bottom of hill
Parking:
Parking is free. Enter from the Main Entrance and turn right at the stop sign. Follow the road and the Mission Parking Structure is located at the bottom of the hill. There will be a tram to take visitors from the structure to the Pavilion.
Disabled Parking:
There will be signs and persons directing to disabled parking.
Bus Route:
Route 44 stops at the main entrance to the campus.
