Purpose:

To help resolve student disciplinary actions and grievances, in accordance with District Policy 3100

Membership Requirements:

The Grievance Officer

At least one but no more than three Academic Senate representatives chosen by the Senate from a pool of at least five Academic Senate representatives. Equal number of Associated Student representatives drawn from a pool of at least five. In cases where a grievance is related to academic accommodation, the committee shall include the 504 Officer, a subject-matter specialist chosen by the Academic Senate, and a certified member for DSP&S. All members of the Committee must be approved by the College President.
