Who is permitted to use the library's online databases and e-books? |

Licensing agreements and copyright considerations require that access to these resources be restricted to San Diego Mesa College students, faculty, and staff. When accessing these resources from off-campus, you will be required to log in to validate your current Mesa affiliation.

I don't know my CSID number. How do I determine what it is? |
| A. |
Your CSID number is the 7-digit number printed beneath your picture on your Mesa photo ID card. Click here for more information.
Additionally, the CSID for Mesa employees can be found on your SDCCD pay stub, just to the right of your name. |

Is the logon case-sensitive? |

Online Access Tips & Reminders
- Some databases and e-books require that your browser (e.g., Netscape or Internet Explorer)
be set to accept cookies.
- Some databases and e-books require your browser to have JavaScript enabled.
- Personal firewall/security software (e.g., Norton Internet Security) may interfere with
user authentication protocols. In some cases, you may have to temporarily disable your security software in order
to connect.
- Many database articles and e-books are in PDF format. To view these documents, you will
need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader installed on your computer. If you do not have this
