The mission of the Mesa Academy is to retain students at the community college level, assist students in graduating with an Associate’s degree or Certificate, and increase transfer readiness to a four-year college or university. The Mesa Academy prepares students for real world experience as it relates adapting to the culture of college to being able to identify student expectations. The overall objective is to not only assist students in identifying their educational, career, and personal goals, but to support students in making informed decisions related to life, career, classroom situations and educational planning, and to assure that students understand how to develop as scholars.
