Welcome to the Mesa College Olympian Speech and Debate Team website. Our new tradition of excellence in speech and debate continued this year with a team that was extremely competitive in both regional and national competition. The exciting year offered students the opportunity to grow as human beings and to impact others through the experience of competitive public speaking, oral interpretation of literature, and debate.
Many students from this year's team are moving on. Like the first two years, students claim that membership on the team has been the richest part of their early college experience; both for the professional development as a speaker and performer, and on a personal level. They are friends who have shared a unique and important experience in the intense and challenging environment of intercollegiate forensics.
